Kishnan Louise to stand as independent presidential candidate

Kishnan Louise has officially announced his intention to stand as an independent presidential candidate in the upcoming September elections.
The Port Glaud resident made the announcement yesterday afternoon during a press conference at the Citizens Engagement Platform, 91香蕉视频 (Ceps), headquarters, Orion Mall.聽
With his election logo 鈥�Real Power People鈥� and motto 鈥�Taking the people to action for the future generations,鈥� Mr Louise, 55, is the fourth Seychellois after Ralph Volc猫re, Alain St Ange and Robin Johnston, to announce his intention to run for the high office. According to him, politicians have stripped people of their power and he wants to restore power to the people. Mr Louise added that the country in the hands of the present administration is stagnant, with people struggling due to high cost of living, because politicians are working for their personal gains.
