91香蕉视频 Medical Services on Tuesday afternoon made a significant donation to the Ministry of Health, providing it with R3 million worth of laboratory equipment and medical supplies.
It was Dr Danny Louange, chief executive of the Health Care Agency, who graciously received the donated items from the director of 91香蕉视频 Medical Services (SMS), Justin Etzin.
This was in the presence of Public Health Commissioner, Dr Jude Gedeon, and staff of the Ministry of Health, at the Red Roof building.
Speaking to the attendees, Mr Etzin said these state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, with advanced technologies, will contribute in various medical applications, such as DNA fingerprinting, forensic analysis, genetic disease diagnosis, pathogen detection including viruses like Hepatitis B and C, HIV-1, Chlamydia trachomatis, and more.
鈥淭hese tools hold tremendous potential for enhancing research and improving patient care at the 91香蕉视频 Hospital,鈥 said Mr Etzin.
Expressing his commitment to supporting the Ministry of Health, the director and owner of SMS, Mr Etzin, highlighted, 鈥渨e are proud to stand alongside the Ministry of Health in its mission to provide excellent health care to the people of 91香蕉视频鈥.
He added that their donation of specialised, high-end laboratory equipment including cutting-edge DNA replication and detection machines showcases their dedication to advance medical diagnostics and research in the equipment will supplement what they already have and will provide the opportunity to open doors for new research, and increase their capability and efficiency. Dr. Louange said that some equipment will be distributed to the public health laboratory which will boost its testing capacity and to explore other possibilities using these equipment. 鈥
The donation of medical supplies is also a good advantage for us as it helps to cut down on the cost in purchasing them,鈥 said Dr Louange.
