World Health Day message by communicable diseases/HIV/Aids and SRHR committee chairperson, Hon. Egbert Aglaé
‘We have achieved so many health targets through many social development goal settings and abiding to international norms and standards’
“As we celebrate World Health Day under the theme ‘Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures’ focusing on maternal health and new-born, the world unifies with one powerful message, ‘My Health, my Rights’ which denotes a powerful vision where the health care system prioritises people not just protocols.
“As a vibrant nation we have stood the test of time whereby we have achieved so many health targets through many social development goal settings and abiding to international norms and standards.
“As a country we recognise all the efforts and resources invested in our healthcare system for so many years now, for having reached the highest benchmarks in Africa as a free health care state outlying a great vision under our human development index.
