Chagossians welcome resettlement and reparations in the Chagos Islands Treaty |03 April 2025
Five groups representing the Chagossian people living in Mauritius, the United Kingdom, 91香蕉视频 and other countries, have issued a statement welcoming the news that the UK and Mauritian governments, supported by the United States, are close to finalising a treaty for the Chagos Islands that will allow them to return to their homeland and provide 鈥渁 new trust fund鈥� and 鈥渙ther support for the benefit of Chagossians鈥�.
