More exposure for our young pugilists prior to CJSOI Games
With the aim of preparing our young pugilists by giving them more exposures and competitions for the upcoming Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l'Océan Indien Games which will be held in 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ between July 28 and August 10, the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Boxing Federation on Saturday hosted a second competition.
The tournament, held at the Victoria Gymnasium, put together 13 bouts of different levels and categories, with more focus on our young boxers who will defend the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’ colours at the Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l'Océan Indien (CJSOI) Games.
It was elite boxers Jovanie Bouzin and Greth Estico who launched Saturday’s competition, battling in the 71kg competition, where the former emerged victorious.
Andrew Bellard and Axel Albert were next up on the card in the 60kg class, and it was Albert who convinced the judges to claim victory.
