Angela Marzocchi听was awarded the President鈥檚 Cup during the graduation ceremony of the 91香蕉视频 Institute of Art and Design yesterday afternoon.
Ms Marzocchi, who has successfully completed the Diploma Course in Fine Arts among 43 other students, received her cup from President Wavel Ramkalawan.
She also won three other awards namely Best Overall Performer for the Diploma programme,听Best Performer for Cambridge GCE 鈥楢 level Art鈥� and Best Performer for Diploma in Fine Arts.听
During the ceremony, held at the University of 91香蕉视频 auditorium, Anse Royale, Ms Marzocchi was described as a role model who is deeply passionate about visual arts and consistently made time to create and explore her craft, developed her artistic abilities, while also actively participating in various activities and competitions.听
In an interview Ms Marzocchi expressed her joy and excitement for winning the prestigious prize. 鈥淚 feel very happy to receive these awards and it shows that hard work and dedication does pay off,鈥� she stated.听
The young graduate hopes to further her studies at university level where she plans to study photography, sculpture and visual art.听
