One inmate of the Montagne Pos茅e prison lost his life, while nine others have been hospitalised, as a result of the riot on Thursday.
According to deputy Commissioner of Police Francis Songoire, the exact circumstances surrounding the inmate鈥檚 death, and the cause of death were yet to be determined. One of the hospitalised inmates suffered a fractured leg.
