Seychellois models go international through fashion shows |19 September 2019
91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ will be represented by local model Nahil Accouche of Telly’s Modelling Agency at the Atlantic City Fashion Week to be held from September 19 to 23 and at the Philadelphia Fashion Week from September 24 to 28 in the USA.
The agency has received invitations to participate in both fashion weeks from Clavon Models in the USA. Nahil was chosen by the agency as she already has a visa for the USA and has previously taken part in the Atlantic City Fashion week last year.
By participating in both fashion weeks, it will be a great opportunity to promote our islands and the upcoming 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Fashion Week to be held from November 25 to December 1.
Fashion designer Clavon Leonard, who is also the owner of Clavon Models, will be participating in the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Fashion Week this year, an initiative and collaboration with Telly’s Modelling Agency.
The agency would like to thank the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Tourism Board (STB) and other sponsors for sponsoring Nahil’s trip and looks forward for this opportunity to open doors for her and other Seychellois models.
Telly’s Modelling Agency has sent five models on overseas mission so far – Gabriella Gonthier and Anika Monthy took part in the Mercedes Benz Fashion in Ghana; Ella Marie represented her country in Miss Heritage in Ghana; Rynia Tamboo and Dean Savy participated in the Africa London Fashion in UK.
Telly’s Agency is planning to send Guillian Gome to represent 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ at Miss Culture Worldwide in Zimbabwe and Tisha Loze at Miss University Africa in Nigeria this year.
The agency is currently waiting for the audition results for Ruth Bonte and Travis Thelermont to represent 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ at the forthcoming World Fashion Week in Paris.
The accompanying photos show Nahil participating in last year’s Atlantic City Fashion Week.
