91㽶Ƶ Buddhist Association organises blood donation camp |01 June 2019
The 91㽶Ƶ Buddhist Association (SBA) organised a blood donation camp last Sunday as part of their ‘VESAK’ activities for this year.
“‘VESAK’ is the most important day of the Buddhist Calendar. It is the full moon day in May that commemorates the birth, enlightenment and departure of Lord Buddha,” noted the chairperson of the SBA, Ajith Bandara.
Blood donation is one of the annual activities of SBA that sends a message of goodwill to the society.
Around forty donors were successful in their noble deed towards humanity.
